Hi, welcome to the site.

I've been writing, off and on, for the last 15 years or so and finally decided to offer my writing to others. Hopefully it brings you some pleasure, satisfaction, or at least makes you think.

I'm supposed to tell you a little about myself, so here goes!  I was born in Russell, Kansas, (right in the center of the state) a long, long time ago. To those not living in the flyover states I suppose that's also considered to be a galaxy far, far away, so maybe I'm really Luke Skywalker. But I doubt it.

I grew up on the family farm and went to a three classroom country schoolhouse, then later graduated from Russell High School. I also graduated from Fort Hays State University with a degree in Agriculture and spent most of my life operating the family wheat and cattle farm. After retiring from farming I moved to the Upstate region of South Carolina where I now call home.

Although I live about 20 miles from Clemson University, I still bleed purple for my Kansas State Wildcats on Saturdays changing to the red and gold of my beloved Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Don't try to talk me out of it or stage an intervention, it won't work.

​

I hold a commercial pilot certificate and a ground instructor certificate. I enjoy auto racing, flying, scuba diving, reading, and collecting movies. It seems I have little time for any of those things, but I'm trying. Send me a message if you have any questions, I'd enjoy hearing from you.
